Yes,this is actually a true story.I am the lead buttkicker refered to in this urban legend and can say without fear of contridiction that this event took place at the infamous

*La Perla* bar in the Centro Historico district of Mexico City D.F. on a hot friday night in August,2002.

The gringo did recover from his "************" and has not,according to my sources in the departamento de la inmigración,ever returned to Mexico again.
