Did anbody read this book when they were younger?

Question

I remember reading the Gill's book when I was about 8 (in the eighties)

Gill's Pony, Gill's gymkania but I cant remember who wrote them. Can anybody help?

Ruby Ferguson.  I loved those books and read them many times when I was young, I still have them in the original Armada paperback editions at 2/6d each (12 and a half p )
