  1. It's c**p...all of those are c**p.  Don't fall for cheesy email scams.

  2. If it about a Yahoo group called ProF1t-4-All, it does not sound legitimate to me. Legitimate groups don't spam in order to get members. The group was created yesterday (2-29-08). Twenty-nine members in only one day of creation??? It sounds very fishy to me. Topic subjects sound like codes from one person to others of interest. (I'm not paranoid).  The content of each of the 13 messages is the same except one not wanting emails from group or email not working. If you do a Yahoo groups search, you will find this to be "public" and can see the messages.  So far as the content I referred to above, legitimate group owners are not out of the country "until March 9" immediately after creating their groups.

I wouldn't touch that group with a 10 foot pole! I hope you do not respond to the email you received about joining that group. If you do not report it to Yahoo!, just mark it as spam and delete it.

  3. Just delete the email. It's a scam.  A lot of websites pretending to be a legitimate sites like Yahoo or Google are popping up.  If you answer, they can get your email address and start to send you more JUNK mail.  Just delete it.

  4. Scam, report it.
