Did any of you catch the IRL pre-race Saturday night?

Question

Did you hear the audio clip to Danica giving her orders to move over during the prior race? I know that they said she was having radio problems but the announcers said she seemed to be hearing her spotter. I sure would like to have sat in on the team meeting after the Edmonton race.

Danica should have been a real team player and made room for TK with or without radios or "orders"...TK needed the points.

She should have NEVER been asked to move over for Marco...

At that time Danica was still mathematically alive for the championship. Danica was ahead of Marco in points and why the h**l should she make room for him? He's a racecar driver with less points....let him get around himself....Danica should have made the decision herself to not only let TK around, but then she should have gotten nasty and blocked the other drivers on TK tail. That's what teammates do for each other...She's a horrid team member and I'd hate to have to keep babysitting that group of children.

I'd fire Marco and Danica and I'd bet AGR would be right there with the Red and Whites each week...if they can't act like a team,why have so many cars? Mutoh and TK would be a good duo on a team.

What shocked me about that entire segment was that Marty Reid actually called them "team orders".  Considering that so many series across the world go to great lengths in order to deny that team orders exist, it was wild to hear Reid say that.  I hope that wasn't an attempt by ESPN to embarrass the IRL as they move to Versus next season.

I would have loved to be sitting in the corner during that meeting.  I feel bad for Hideki Mutoh.  This is his first season with AGR, and it's turning out like this.  Luckily he hasn't been involved in any of this controversy.  I think Danica should have moved over for TK without the team orders.  In my opinion, Danica didn't really have a chance to beat Scott Dixon for the Points Championship during that race, but TK might have had a chance, so she should have been a good teammate and moved over.  Marco and Danica made some mistakes during Edmonton, and hopefully they figured out what they did wrong so they can fix it and win some races.

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at that AGR team meeting after Edmonton.. TK said during the pre race that they had a great meeting, and everything was fine..TK has a 5 yr deal now with AGR, the other two drivers need to just grow up a bit..
