Did any of you close your eyes on the Soaring ride in Epcot?

My wife just confessed she did. Spring break, we line up for 80 minutes, and she closed her eyes!

i didn't but I think why she closed her eyes because I think she had a little trouble in heights

oh, i love that ride. i worked for disney world when the ride first opened and got to go on the cast only rides, it was so fun.

i keep my eyes open every time. it really is a fantastic ride and worth the wait. very calming. i always blink when the golf ball comes at you though. it's a wonderful ride!! :-)

aww, she kept them closed the whole time? it's not scary. is she afraid of heights? poor thing ...

Hahahaha.... I know the lines for that ride are ridiculous!!!  My husband and I were fine.  Honestly I was more worried about losing my flip flop than the heights LOL!!  It reminded me of going to the IMAX only the seats move.  But I loved it!

Soaring isn't a ride it's an illusion.

No way! thats the whole point of it,eyes open to feel the wonderful sensation of soaring!! We had a ball on it . Loved it!

I went to the Soaring ride at CA Adventure several times.  There are some parts that made me queasy and I did close my eyes for a couple seconds.
