Did any one else see the program about the REAL king of england?

Yea the royal familly sucks, but that guy should be king

Yeah. It was interesting. Still, for me it just underlined how unnecessary the royal family is.

It's a fascinating story, and really makes you think about the line of ancestry. However, the point is moot-even is Edward IV had been illegitimate, he could claim the Crown from Henry VI by right of conquest, whether he was a legitimate child or not. And his own father never questioned his legitimacy-under the law, that makes him the legal son of Richard, Duke of York.

Still, though, it was an interesting program!

There was one here a while back in the UK which I remember vaguely, was it the one about that guy in Australia?

As the marriages and relationships through which he is related to the royal family were not lawful, he is not the real or any other sort of king of England. Even if he had a legal claim, there were two laws passed during the reign of Queen Victoria to establish her as the rightful queen..the acts of succession.
