anchal jalan, the year is 2012- December 21st to be exact. That's when the Mayan's Mesoamerican Long Count Calendar ends, and scientists believe this is when the Mayans predicted the world to end. People take this date seriously because the Mayans were never wrong about any of their predictions. I honestly believe like some scientists say, the predictions the Mayans made were very non-specific. For example, They said a very important ruler would die (Reagan died). And that we would go through a great time of depression, increased births, & not enough food. This prediction was linked to the Great Depression.

       So yeah, the world probably is going to end someday, but it's only going to be because we are destroying it ourselves. I'm not trying to tell you not to take these predictions seriously, but until then, do your part to fight global warming and live life to the fullest!

the world will "end" in a few billion years because we rely on the suns heat and light, and when the sun dies we wont have any heat or light. scientists say that the suns life is half over. so basically everyone will die in a few billion years and the earth will "end"
