Did anybody do a journal of their preschool intership?

  1. I agree with Matt...this is not something you usually are willing to share.  :-)

    Our bookstore at the college had bound "journals".  They were just pages bound together.  On the top was a place to enter class observed, times, classroom teacher's signature and then a large space for writing your "journal" and then at the bottom was a place for your signature.  They used these as proof of how many hours you put in.  Hope that helps.


  2. I don't know if anyone is going to willingly give this up.  It may have a lot of their own thoughts in it.

    If you want to make one, I would suggest including the following:

    --Exact details, including times, of what you observed the children doing.

    --Any reactions you had to something you either did or something you witnessed.  How did you handle it and do you feel you could handle it better or it was handled well?  How could you better handle a similar situation?

    --What did you learn from the children that day?  I think about my teaching career in light of Matthew 18:1-5.  Take a look at that passage and see how Jesus calls us to change to be more like children.  Even if you're not religious, it's still a powerful message.

  3. omg i hate doing them..had 2 do 12 with reflections and 12 special need ones.

    just write in your own words what happened during the day

    mine are hand written so i cant share them but good luck
