They have realized that in order to get Obama elected, they will have to do a character assassination on Palin. They obviously are willing to risk a "Dan Rather" to do it. I sure haven't seen any pieces on Biden by them.

This type of thing has already happened to Obama. He's had time to organize a fight the smears and lies campign. It has worked. This is another reason that this is a bad choice for the Republicans but a good one for Obama supporters. All the next two months is going to be about is this.
