Did anybody watch the men's 4x100 relay race?

where the american guy dropped the baton. plus why did they hold the event in the rain? why not wait till it stops?

I can't believe it, this **** has happen twice already. it happened in 2004 and now 2008.

yeah i saw it i thought they were going to win when they droped the boton i was like i cant believe.....

Yeah I saw it. They should have taken their time. It was only a qualifying event. Half the field got disqualified.

The Olympics are only supposed to last 2 weeks. Holding events will mess up the schedule prolonging the games for over 2 weeks or they will squeeze in several events in a day in order to finish on time.

Yeah saw it, I have to say that it looked like Tyson g*y the anchor, took off too early for Darvis Patton to be able to pass him the baton.  If you check out the slo-mo replay you'll clearly be able to see Darvis Patton mouthing "HEY", trying to let g*y know he was taking off too fast.  

I agree that they should have taken their time tho.
