  1. I cried.

My father stood up and clapped with tearful pride.

(My father is also a Vietnam vet)

  2. A true hero who will be a great leader of our nation!

    President John McCain!!!!!!!!

  3. I did yell Welcome Home!  (My dogs thought I was crazy, but I didn't care.)

  4. You bet, I teared up last night. SERE school showed me a little taste of what he went through, and I am grateful he did not give up and put his pride of America first, even before he knew he was going into politics.

  5. McCain can go to h**l!

    GO OBAMA! WOO-HOO!

  6. I wanted to yell :

"And THAT'S what I'm talking about.  A future president who puts his country first.  Even BEFORE he knew he was going to run for president!"

  7. J Cruz - Your answer is an insult. No one said anything about there desire to have McCain as president here, merely that his speech was moving and point on for those who fought a long side him.

I beamed with pride during his speech. My daddy fought in Vietnam, he is a little off his rocker now, but still an amazing man. He also really liked McCains speech.

  8. He is "The Man!!!"

  9. You got that right.

  10. No. I felt he was again playing the POW card.
