  1. Yea I felt so bad for her. At least we came in second

  2. i think she should have just cried.  you could tell she was on the verge of tears.  yeah it sucks that she didn't get the gold but hey at least she went to the olympics.

  3. yeah i felt really bad when she fell off the beam because after she looked like she was trying not to cry. and then i said well she still has the floor exercise so maybe she will do better but then she fell again but i think it was because she was upset about falling off the beam and wasnt focusing so it caused her to do bad on the floor exercise. but the good part is that they got silver so they didnt do that bad. its better than coming in 4th and getting no medal at all. it just dissapointed her im sure because she was at the olympics and she worked so hard, and she falls. and in gymnastics you're probably going to only go to the olympics once, so you only get one shot.

  4. Ya, I feel worse for her for all the blaming and hate that she's getting from what happened last night.

  5. Yeah! I was watching last night, poor girl looked like she wanted to cry so bad. The Chinese screwed her over on beam. The US coach was soooo angry. They called her name and then made her wait! So she psyched herself out because she was ready and they made her wait. US got robbed!

  6. i felt really bad for her. i think everyone knew she had the capability of sticking the first part of her routine. She looked like she was on the brink of crying right on the spot i think she felt she let her team down :[

    shes an amazing gymnast

  7. I did a little she worked very hard. She practiced very hard everyone was very upset.

  8. I felt bad for her at first, but she kept moping about the balance beam fall. I knew it would make her s***w up again, and it did!

You gotta suck it up and move on.

    I'd still do her, however.

  9. yeah

especially when the lady interviewed her

she was trying so hard not to cry

  10. Yeah, **** happens.

  11. Feel terrible? I'm pissed off as all h**l at her. Do you realize what it feels like to be so close to winning a gold medal and have the best player s***w herself?

  12. Yeah, she pretty much the oldest and most experience in the team and that gave her extra pressure.

  13. its terrible that people are using her as the scapegoat to US team not winning gold. they forget the fact that her mistakes cost the team a total of 1.7 pts and the team lost by over 2 pts. Which means its not all her fault. Its the team's overall. they still put up a good fight and finished with 2nd place which is pretty darn good.

  14. Well, her coach said it was the wait time that contributed to her poor performance on the mat, but i think we all know that she just couldnt get the balance beam out of her head. I mean, she was visibly disturbed from that moment on.

  15. I felt terrible for her. All that hard work and to slip up in the Olympics. What the judges did to her is what they try to do in american football, ice the kicker before he kicks the potentially game winning field goal. It wasn't fair what they did to the poor girl.

  16. of course i feel bad for her.

    im a gymnast.

we put in sooooooooo much effort to go that far,.

like me for example im 13 and practice 23 hours a week in the summmer.

    NO LIFE.

yeah, we work hard for this and so it would be devastating to fall when you need to be perfect the most.

    and thats the hard part.

gymnasts have to be perfect. they have to strive for perfection.

and the hardest part of that is that it doesnt exist.

and all you guys have seen what we do.

    its reallllly hard!!

so of course your gonna fall off beam.

doing backhand spirings on beam is tricky and alot of everything you do in gymnastics is skill, but the landing the trick is alll luck.

so yeah feel bad for her. and of course shes devastated, but i think what hurt her most was how many people were watching. she probably felt more embarrased then upset about falling.

    so yeaaah!(:

  17. She did not earn the silver.....  They all should have been awarded the gold medal because of the illegal use of younger children than age 15 by China.  Also, the judges must have been "disciplined" or "programmed" by the communist party to ignore China's mistakes and to "add" style or bonus points, because the Chinese athlete's are not one bit original and are boring because they only do the basics.  It's not only gymnastics, but it looks like the divers are also prepubescent.

Anyways, she and the US team will get their revenge in the gymnastics individual competition against those cheaters!

  18. I sure did
