Did anyone else feel the earthquake in UK last night?

Last night at 1am I was in my bedroom and felt the room shake, I laughed at my fiance who said it was a earth quake...then today saw this!

ye thought i was imagining it looked at the dogs and thought was that you shaking or was there something under the bed , shocked wasn't the word lol

Nope :(. I have never felt an earthquake... I suppose thats a good thing... lol. (i am in Southampton).

Yeah lots of people felt the earthquake last night especially near the epicentre within lancashire. You could also see the effects of it in many places.

I didn't feel anything though as I'm all the way down in cornwall and so didn't reach here!

It woke me up and i had no idea what it was untill i heard my drunk flat mates running down the corridor shouting 'earthquake'! lol

Yeah it was ace, not as good as the Dudley one in 2002 but then i was in Dudley for that and much further away from the epicentre this time. my room shock and i thought maybe it was a lorry or something but it was too quiet and lasted too long but all the house shook. its so rare for a UK earthquake its exciting when we do get one.
