Did anyone else hear Rusty say he hates burnouts??

I do not particularly like him as an announcer but his stock went up a whole bunch in my eyes.

Yeah,Rusty said that,but he also said that he likes it better when the drivers drive around the track and thank the fans...I tought that was pretty cool..his stock went up a bit with me as well ;)

Yeah, he has never made a secret of his hatred for burnout celebrations.  

I forget if it was him or Mark Martin or maybe another old timer who made the remark that doughnuts are for kids, but either way - I prefer the victory lap, polish or not.

Burnouts are people too......what if he said "I hate homosexuals" or "I hate jews"......nobody would praise him for that. I take offense to his comments and I want an apology

Yeah. Rusty's never liked burnouts. And I agree with him that they are hard on the engine & the car & the crews who build them every week. But some of them do look sweet.

Yes I heard him say that and I have to agree though Rusty is usually very hard to listen to. Sick of 'em. Carl's respectful Victory Lane celebration made HIS stock go up in my opinion. Great job Carl and congratulations!!!

yeah i heard him although i'm doing my best to tune him out as much as possible.  one more "he's driving his GUTS out" and i'll be puking my guts out.

yeah i heard him say it.  he is old school and they didnt do burnouts back when he was winning.  its hard on equipment but it is pretty cool to watch though.  oh yeah and listen to him when he commentates to say "thats for sure"  he will say that phrase atleast 20 times a race.

He is probably jealous because Rusty don't know how to do one (and I like Rusty), or because Jeff Gordon stole to many races from him, especially at Bristol.
