Did anyone else hear the rumour,Andrew embly will go to Carlton in the next draft?

if this turns out to be true,it would make this season exceptional as far as pick ups go at carlton-what are your thoughts??

Yeah the rumor was he tried to go this year, but couldn't so now it's been changed to next year.

I highly doubt it, im pretty sure Embley's contracted to the Eagles for 2008...Carlton fans just need to settle down a bit.

Not too sure what you are on about !    Carlton want Kruiser with there No1 pick , Richmond has "pick 2".   Dont the Tigers want him.?    If Embley has been delisted or has NOMINATED for the draft, Carlton have no way of being certain to get him unless they have another, or new plan to cheat the system again.    They have that big logo on their jumper, CFC, "club for cheats".      

They have had more club Presidents than you could poke a stick at, involved in white collar crimes, they poached Swann the Ceo from Collingwood 'after' the season had begun,  (unethical) and because of their dodgy past, they are being   "rewarded",  able to pick up, Scotland Stevens and  Judd.    Now the AFL are "giving" them interest FREE loans .     Carlton are Pathetic and always will be .

I did hear that rumour a few weeks ago but I don't think he will go I think the Eagles will make him co-Captain.

Also to Dubaya you must of forgotten the underhanded tactics Collingwood used to gain Malthouse's signature while he was STILL under contract to the Eagles.

I would rather my team get into a GF and lose then be bottom dwellers like Carlton and Richmond.

i've heard it to, its something bout him walking out, that they may pick him up in the pre-season draft, not the actual national draft, highly unlikely but hey the same was said bout judd moving to victoria

Geez if all this comes true the Blues might have a team that can win three or four games next year.

I still think the Saints have done better so far in the off-season and I'd rate them a better chance to improve NEXT year.  And getting rid of their single focus up front will help them.

Perhaps the Blues are more on a three year plan now.

As for Embley, I think he should come over and play with Benny at the Cats :-)
