Did anyone else notice how conservative The Dark Knight was?

It tells the truth, it shows us how society truly is. It doesn't make anything look more glamorous than it actually is, nobody's happy in the end. One of the few pro-war movies and it's in the record book after one weekend. The Dark Knight is honestly a masterpiece and isn't just some superhero movie. It sends a true message.

  1. Absolutely it has conservative point of view... You are not the only one to notice it.  But dont talk about it so loudly, there have to be more than a few Obama voters who don't want to hear this....lol

    But here is the skinny on the movie...follow me here here...Batman represents George Bush who in fighting Extreme terrorisrm taking on extreme measures himself to fight him, including a naughty surveilance tap into people's cell phones.  He fight s crime and sacrifices his populatity in doing so to the point that the people he tries to protect want to see him fall because of the innocent lives that have fallen in the conflict..... Interesting, isnt it.

    Funny if you think about it...How many George Bush haters are flocking to see this movie which is a cleverly written conservative pro-war movie!!!

    But like I said, lets keep this on the down-low.  You dont want too many people to think too deeply now.  Let's keep the box office alive for this movie...it IS a masterpiece!!

  6. I haven't seen it yet, but I have heard a number of comments along a similar vein. That Batman has to hide his identity in order to do what is right. Even though the masses don't like him, he does what he knows is the right thing to do. That he is an allegory for conservatism.

  7. The movie is based on a comic book.  It has nothing to do with conservatism.
