At the start of last nights race how KB crossed the start line ahead of the pole setter. And how the announcers commented on it. And no replays, no more commentary after the second lap. Does NASCAR censor the media broadcasts of an event?

  1. I think they do just like they use a different rule book for each driver.

  2. Yeah!  Certainly did, he said Rusty got penalized for it.  hmm Wonder why KB didn't?  Is he that special?  lol

  3. As soon as the flag man waves the green flag, they begin racing.  They wave the flag before the leader gets to the S/F line.  It is completely normal for the 2nd place car (outside pole) to beat the pole sitter.  That was nothing out of the ordinary :)

And, the only thing censored is language.

  4. Yea I noticed that I was wondering what was going to end up happening, but I can't really tell ya if they censor the broadcasts or not, i'm sure they could if they wanted to.

  5. It's not the first time officials turned the other way for him how about the pass below the yellow line this year(forgot which race) and how many times he should have been flagged for over aggressive driving.Somehow someway he has got to be related to Bill France

  6. It was allowed because the pole sitter chose to start on the outside essentially giving up the pole.  So kyle was not black flagged.  Just so you know Iam not a Kyle fan.

  7. Yes, I noticed,  how could you not...It's one of those things where the "other set of rules" comes into play and Nascar chose to let it go. The only thing censored is the language sometimes. I could say more but I'll be nice n keep my mouth shut. Good luck to everyones driver today. Enjoy the race.  =o`)
