It was in the sky Southwest of Denver, Colorado. It lasted probably a good few seconds and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was or had seen it so I know I am not crazy. Thanks!

  1. It was probably an iridium flash.  There are usually a few a night.  It's sunlight reflecting off the solar panels of a communications satellite.  It gets really bright for about 5-10 seconds, and then it's gone.

  2. I live in WI & at about 11:15pm tonight, we were coming home & saw a bright greenish blue flash, which looked like a shooting star. I did a little research & found that it looked a lot like the SWAN Comet. It was beautiful!
