Did anyone else sense that earthquake in LA coming?

I drove in to LA from Phoenix to visit my cousin who recently moved to Redondo Beach. While I was there I had a continuos overwhelming sense that this earthquake was coming. I have been to Southern California many times and never had this feeling before. Is it just me or how many of you felt it was coming? Kinda freaky!

  1. impressive!

  2. I heard a radio show called Coast to Coast AM with George Noory just days before it:

    "

Appearing in the second-half of the program, geologist Jim Berkland talked about earthquakes. Animals can react to quakes between 10 days to three weeks in advance of the event, and he postulated this may be due to the magnetite in their bodies sensing a change in the magnetic field. Lights in the sky may also precede quakes-- such lights were photographed in Japan, he reported.

Berkland declared July 29th through August 5th, 2008 to be the next window of seismic activity. In particular, he said a total eclipse on August 1st will bring high tides that can exert stress on the earth's crusts."

Apparently this guy isn't very well known yet this isn't the first earthquake that he has successfully predicted.

So you weren't the only one.

  3. I am not crazy! but you all have to listen, ok. There is more to earth and heaven than we know of, and I can't explain to you how I know this, all im saying is there will be a afterquake, even greater than the first, take my advice and go to places where there are no items taller or bigger than you!

  4. I felt quakes that were coming here in Reno, Nevada (where I live now) but there have been times when I don't sense anything and an earthquake hits. There odd feelings alright... like being kinda psychic- it's not just you I think there are several people on the earth who can sense it in the air. Yes, freaky! 0_o

  5. I live in Northern California, San Francisco to be exact and we actually have bad earthquakes also but I don't have that sort of intuition talking to me. Although for the past 4 earthquakes in the past 2 years, I've always been awake no matter if it was 3 or 4 in the morning. I can always hear the house creaking before a big earthquake. But that's the threat Californians live in when we live on top of a San Andreas fault line.

  6. The sensing capability differs from man to man. You will get some strange feeling before the occurrence of earthquakes. But not every body. I have already given to another person question what are all the feelings and actions by different types of animals and men and in nature can be found.

  7. There have been studies of animals sensing "something" long before it happens. What they sense and what they interpret it as, we do not know....we can only guess by what happens after the animals start to behave in a way that appears to be caused by having sensed something.

You went to California. You had an unusual feeling. Some time later there was an earthquake. You now believe what you felt was a "sense of an earthquake coming".

I am not doubting you sensed something. But I'd be happier with the "earthquake coming" part of it if you'd said you were feeling an earthquake AT THE TIME you had the feeling. Afterwards you could be fooling yourself, subconsciously, like "aha is that what the funny feeling was?"

All the same, if you are prone to sensing things, this "must have been X" way is the only way to refine which feelings lead to what, to "educate" your senses and develop any psychic abilities you might have.
