Did anyone else think Marion Cotillard 's 9/11 Arguments were flawed?

Her main argument was that other buildings have been hit by planes before and not colapsed

- Which is true

BUT

the twin towers were built out of "prefabricated" pieces of steel that were just "slotted" together like lego or whatever - it was this building method that allowed the twin towers to be so tall - this method is still used in some tall buildings

Prior to that most buildings had been built out of bricks or cement - including what would previously call sky scrapers

When hit by a plane these buildings would stand up better than a building of steel - but they are tiny in comparison to the massive skyscrappers the steel method has brought us now

I do think that some of Marion Cotillard's comments were taken badly and used in the wrong contexts on the News

But if your going to make an argument - especialy on TV - at least have all the facts

I think she realy came across as a fool - and ruined her prospects as an actress in the US

  1. I believe she expressed a very uneducated personal opinion with enough holes in it to drive a Mack truck through.
