Question:

Did anyone else think that Denny Hamlin's comments after the race were slightly ridiculous?

He said that Keselowski's actions come from being inexperienced at driving. Well, no kidding, Denny. You're in the Nationwide series, which is supposed to help groom guys and give them experience before they move into the Sprint cup. If he doesn't want immaturity, then he should stay out of the Nationwide series. However, his "reaction" to Keselowski lifting his tires wasn't exactly "mature."

  1. i agree if ya dont want to race aggaint inexperieced driver dont race in a nationwide race

  2. what is ridiculous is jr. running in the back of hamlin. shouldnt he be mature enough in the sport not to retaliate? just because you are running in nationwide series does not mean you hit other cars on purpose because you are frustrated and cannot make a pass.

  3. Hamlin, and Kyle, both want the notoriety of Tony Stewart, they just have no clue as to what it takes to get there. They're both idiots

  4. dude LIL K LIFTED HIS TIRES WHAT IF UR ON THE HIGH WAY AND SOME ONE LIFTS UR TIRES WHAT WOULD U DO MOUTH THE GUY RIGHT , WELL HERE U HIT THEM BACK , UR SITTING IN THE CAR AND UR CAR LIFTS HOW WOULD U FEEL , lil k at fault here why u racing DURNINIG A CAUTION , WHY HE HIT HAMLIN DURNING A CAUTION ???

if some one comes and hits me in the arm ill hit him in the gut retalation sister

  5. They were racing hard and Denny didn't want to Boo Hoo. He is a cry baby. They both were in the wrong, but Hamilin was stupid to take his fender off.  ANd I am glad glad that Junior came up and bump him, shows that he does have emotion. Hope to see that more from him.

  6. No, they were slightly "correct"

Edit: Yeah Rob it's common knowledge to run into people under caution as long as your with Jr. Motorsports

  7. His comments were off base but his actions on the track were appropiate.  He was only pushing when shoved.

  8. Hamlin was completely within his rights to cave in his car,he should also have caved in his skull and then shotgunned his butt.

  9. If Denny Hamlin really feels that way just because someone was being aggressive and had a better car than him then he should quit racing and go flip hamburgers at McDonald's.

  10. I am one of the biggest Denny Hamlin fans out there. I don't think he should have hit Brad like that, and his comments after the race weren't that good. Kyle Busch is rubbing off on him. They need to spend LESS time together! I was shocked to see this happen. but like someone else said, Kyle gets away with it, why can't he?

Kyle Busch needs an early retirement.

  11. How about this:

All three (Hamlin, Keselowski, and Earnhardt Jr.) were stupid for trying to settle it on the track like that.

  12. Yes. The 88 was faster, so to say Brad should have backed off was ridiculous.

  13. NO. And besides it is not like that was Brads first race.

  14. Could it be that he'll have a better chance at winning?

I guess the same could be said for Jr., huh?

  15. This coming from a guy that stopped on the track to get a caution in the Cup series. Then in his post race interview said he didn't know it was against the rules. Idiot.

  16. His post race comments were totally out of line....is he the only driver on the track????and others  so called inexperienced..MOVE OUT OF MY WAY, do not get near me, you throw a rock at me I will throw concrete block at you..yes very MATURE for a so called Cup Driver..Gibbs you got another one...saying a prayer...Anger Management is calling you again......lol

  17. I didn't think they were slightly ridiculous.  I thought they were incredibly ridiculous.  Looks like these JGR drivers want to race hard but don't want to be raced hard. As for Jr.'s bump, big deal. You see that all the time.  Just a "hey i saw that" kind of thing.  I respect JGR drivers for being focused and racing hard, but now I would like to see them realize they are not the only ones out there doing that.

  18. Yes, they were.  I don't believe that Sprint drivers should race in the Nationwide Series.

They are just taking money away from them.  It isn't fair.  They are just hogs!

  19. his comment were crazy   saying he has no cup experience

well it wasnt a cup race

all the post race interviews are any more is a crying session for the drivers that should stay in CUP if thats where they want to be

  20. You hit the nail on the head, denny's postrace comments were very ridiculous, stay outta the junior leagues sonny, duh on that one. Denny has always been a little beeeeeotch and occasionally he really shows it.

  21. It seems that there were two immature drivers "lifting his tires". The team immature team owner and his immature driver!

  22. His comments after the race begged for a fine... His action on the track begged for a fine. I would have laughed so hard had he cut a tire being so foolish.

Emotions get high thats for sure and I am sure Kyle loved seeing all the fuss behind him. If those two are so busy having a little temper tantrum he could win, and win he did. I also think had the last caution not flown Denny would have hit Kyle and the fight would really have been on.

Tonights race was awesome, even though Jr didn't win. Sure loved his show of emotion, (bout time!), and his comments afterwards. Tonight race though did prove two things to me.

    1. NASCAR needs to leave the nationwide cup cars as they are.

    2. Sprint cup drivers should really not race in the nationwide series.

Can you blame Denny though? I mean come on! His team mate gets away with it why shouldn't he? Ole Tony is probrably getting a good laugh watching hiw two Team mates? acting like kids in a playground

And how about Kyle ending the 20's winning streak. His team mates ride and owners car? Just shows you Kyle loves to race but is not a team player.....

  23. Hamlin's an IDIOT just like his Cup team mate Kyle! If he doesn't like racing with less experienced drivers then what the h**l is he doing racing in the Nationwide Series? Could it be that he'll have a better chance at winning?
