Did anyone else think that new moon was boring and kinda slow?

i just thought the book was a little slow in the middle because she is with jacob for half the book. It was good at the beginning and the last few chapters with edward there. Maybe it is because i don't like jacob very well or whatever. let me know what you guys think thanks. By the way for those you like jacob please don't be offended. Oh and i need more people on my contacts/messenger list so if you could please add me please and thank you.

Nope, I really liked New Moon. It was more true to life. Jacob is an important character and Bella's bestfriend... maybe more...

actually, no. a lot of people i know think the same as you, that it was boring. to tell you the truth, it was one of my favorites in the series. don't be offended by this, but i think you didn't like it as much because edward wasn't in it. that's not exactly a bad thing, but you should keep an open mind about the characters. i mean, by the fourth book, i think we all start to like jacob a little bit more. =)

yeah, I thought it was slow. The first time I read the book, I read it, but now I just skip over it because it wastes soooo much time talking about boring stuff.

Yeah! SM makes all the exciting, climatic things happen right at the end of her books, I didn't like New Moon so much because Edward was hardly in it =(! I think it was necessary for Edward to go away though, I think it had to happen since Edward would never feel right if he hadn't felt what it was like to be away from Bella, he needed to learn how much he loved her, well thats what I think any way =) .

yea it was pretty slow. i was kinda sad that edward wasn't there until the end and i'm not to fond of jacob either...

Duh, Edward wasnt in half of it! He totally makes the book with out him it would be blah

I love New Moon!!! its probably my favourite, or eclipse. I think thats probably because i love jacob though. out of all the books thats the one i've read most and actually i skip the end and the beginning when i read it over coz i think the start is very slow when you are just waiting for edward to leave. if any other questions contact me and i'd be happy to answer and discuss twilight etc

I thought it was kind of slow...it was my least favorite of the series.

I haven't read New Moon because it was a major chore getting through the first book - that one was so slow and repetitive, it bored me to tears!
