Did anyone else with service pack 2 get an update to service pack 3 from Microsoft?

I just got service pack 3 download from Microsoft. maybe because of the hassle with sp2.

Yes have received it, but is coming to the point that we must realize that xp is getting too old and getting too hard to keep good security, hackers viruses are coming more advanced and technology.  So it's time to realize we must upgrade for better performance and security.

Vista I love it

Best OS ive ever used , alot safer then xp by far. compatiblity wont be an issue in time but other than that this os beats out xp id say. ive used both xp and vista for about equal amounts of time and id prefer vista for sure. id buy this again definately.

Yes i downloaded it from updates a month ago and i have had no problems so far.

It was an automatic update that I endured this morning and it seems to be fine.

SP3 is just all the updates that have been accrued since SP2 was released with a couple of "tweaks" for the OS thrown in.

It's perfectly harmless if you download it from the Microsoft website although if you've kept your pc fully updated, you don't really need it and the only reason to update is to stop the annoying message coming up asking you to update when you visit the Windows Update website.

Yes I got it. I'm running on it now. People have been complaining, but so far my computer is working okay.

I got SP3 when it came out as the Beta version. Never had any problem with it or any of the updates.

Service pack 3 contains everything in service pack 2 anyway.

It just installed a few new patches and some better security updates.

No biggie.

Micro -soft will automatically update all updates , and service packs, if you have choosen automatic  option on your computer.  It,s better to do this , then you just set and forget.
