I'm not saying I did, and I'm not condoning Bazza's actions. Its just that you always hear people saying "Bring back the Biff!"

WCE fans, I know your feelings already. You are OUTRAGED.

  1. I sure did.

I agree with what Barry did.

If someone kept annoying me like that i wouldve done the same thing.

  2. Richo i know I'm supposed to say bad, terrible, mongrel outrage etc but mate to be fully honest it just reminded me of the old footy we used to love and i know we've moved on to another more sanitised era but seeing someone go the knuckle still sends a shiver down my spine.

i don't condone king hits (like lee Mathews,Denis banks,Robbie Muir,Carl Dietrich,Mal brown etc) but in the name of entertainment BRING BACK THE BIFF!

this may not be a popular answer but we all know the crowds love a good blue.

  3. Yes it was bad,BUT I have to say I secretly enjoyed the slow mo version and the reactions of the crowd in the background.hehehe

I'm not condoning what he did,but because in reality he did...IT WAS A BEAUTY!!!!!

  4. Well, it did add a bit of extra excitement into the weekend, but it has also changes the game, seven weeks, COULD, change the season for the Swans and West Coast, Barry has a nice personality, but i am sure somewhere in that big head, Hall would have thought before acted. Paul Roos and the AFL should be extremally worried about the occasion, the outcome of this weekend could change the game as i said before, the AFL thinking about introducing red cards, not a good idea, could the AFL go down with fans, maybe even players, the AFL needs to make the right choice, and get on with the season.

  5. Reg Reagan would be thrilled.

    "Bring back the Biff"

  6. Yeah, a bit of biff is always good. I really enjoyed the Port vs Crows game a few weeks ago too. Good tough footy.

  7. as neither a swans or wce supporter, i can say with all honesty, although feeling for staker, it will not harm the games image, to the contrary it will make more people watch it, thinking it's a common occurrence, which we all know these days is false.

what hall done was wrong but who knows what was going on behind the play, was staker continually holding, grabbing, pinching etc, a bloke with a short fuse is eventually going to snap, as Greg Williams used to do, b4 cameras,on ballers and forwards in particular used to throw the arm back or throw a quick punch to make the tagger know he wasn't going to take it, i would love to see a fight (not wat hall done) at every game, the crowd gets into it, you see what players go missing real quick then.

in ice hockey, they have a one out fight, third man to join in and the fight is stopped, by the refs, players just stop, they get 10 minutes in the bin, we could all have a fighter come on to protect the onballers, reg Reagan would love it.

all tongue in cheek guys but don't you think we are getting carried away by this incident.

    7 weeks, end of story.

  8. I am a Swans supporter, and I would of said yes if they were going toe to toe. A bit of biff never hurt, and i've been in my fair share on the paddock. But Staker wasn't defending himself. And a king hit is something you don't do. So I have to say not overly.

  9. yeh i saw it

look at my face do i look happy

  10. love it been in it and i would do it all again

  11. Yeah, what a reminder of 80's football

can still remember the all in brawls at half time of GF's

Would have enjoyed the weekends biffo more if staker and hall had of been going at each other and not being hit unaware

  12. No. I didn't!

Congratulations for posting the 100th question in here on this incident!

  13. nah i think Barry Hall is a thug

  14. Yeah I don't condone it but I gotta admit it's good to ruffle some feathers every now and then...

I'm a Sydney supporter living in WA tho and boy I have copped the lot this week...

It's much better when its not yr team involved.. hee

  15. A bit of Biffo always adds a bit of extra excitement into any sporting game. Admit it guys we all love it.  It's just like seeing a massive stack at the car races.
