Did anyone ever find out what the Montauk Monster really was (the dog like thing with a beak)?

It was just a dog. The so called "beak" was just the bone parts of the muzzle with the flesh rotted off, so it was exposed.

It wasn't a dog, or a raccoon, or anything else.  It was a movie prop from some lame movie that's coming out called Splinterheads that no one will see, and this was their stupid attempt at viral marketing.  

I hate viral marketing.
