Did anyone ever teach English overseas?

In Europe or Asia? I hear sometimes they are desperate for English teachers because they are lacking them.

I used to teach English for Grade 2 and 3 in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. Nowadays its easy to get English teachers for Primary Section. Yes they are desperate to get English teachers for High Schools and they are in need of Native English speaking teachers.

I've been teaching English at a public junior high school (with elementary school visits) in Japan for three years. There is a shortage of qualified English speakers who are actually interested in teaching English as opposed to making a quick buck. It is quite difficult to get a job in Japan without being here first, but if you are interested I would highly recommend the JET Program.
