  1. Aye my head fell off, my legs burst into flames, my feet turned blue and disintegrated, my hair fell out, my fingers all stuck together, I swallowed my tongue and had a terrible cough for a week. I wont be taking them again.

  2. Oh yes!  I've been taking medication for 20 years now, and only about half of that time has it been spot on.  It can depend on how much activity your thyroid is producing (mine is none or very little) so different circumstances make a difference eg. stress, my weight etc. A few years ago I was told I was taking too much (it was my prescribed dose), but I was having panic attacks, hot flushes etc.  Then only 2 months ago - was told i'm taking too little and became very lethargic and slow.  If it feels wrong, get another blood test to check, you know your own body better than anyone.

  3. I haven't as of yet and I've been on them for 9 years now.  Everyone is different though and can react to them in different ways.  Talk to your doctor, your dosage might be too high or low.

  4. i don't get any side affects and been on them for just over a year now. would suggect going to see your gp even if they are only minor side affects.

the dose you are on might me to high or not enough. regular blood test from your gp will keep an eye on this. my doses has changed twice since being on them.

  5. No.   I've been taking for over 11 years now.   If you don't take them you can go into a coma myxedema coma.
