  1. well after what you said how can you NOT feel bad.

I cant imagine how that would feel

  2. **** no.  She got an undeserving Bronze in the Vault finals and a Gold in Team Final with a bunch of underage girls.

  3. I havent seen that :(

  4. I felt bad for her, too!  I'm sure she wasn't crying just because she didn't win (she's a 3-time world champion on vault)... she probably felt like she let down her whole country.  =[

  5. Guys give her a break, I felt bad for Sacramone when she messed up and I feel bad for this girl because you can tell this was important to her.  I am sure she was not crying for herself just like Sacramone but that she let her Country down, her parents and her coaches and teammates even though this was not a team competition. you have to give these girl credit because 99% of the world can't do what they do.

  6. i did feel bad for her because those gymnists work their whole lives for that one moment. However, i think the scoring is kind of fishy in favor of the chinese so i'm glad she didn't win gold.

  7. I feel bad for her as an individual, she is just a little girl, a little gear in a big, nasty machine.

And yes, I agree, she did not deserve a medal, period. She knew it, too, you could see it on her face. She was the worst, by far. I don't think cheating in the judging makes these girls feel like winners and that's easy to understand why. When you are clearly visible to the world as the worst one up there, regardless of numbers, you will still be embarrassed. It's not her fault.

Who said who Alicia was or was not upset for? I'm sure she was just as upset for her country, her coaches, etc. We don't know these people anyway, so we can't judge what runs through their heads. All we know is they both expressed deep sadness.

  8. I felt bad for her, she had done so well to come so far and 'retirement' is really just around the corner for her. It was beautiful to see Izbasa trying to make her feel better - the sportsmanship in these ladies is enviable.

Anonymous - last time I checked, 20yo's are not "Little girls". Cheng is 20 years old, and not only is it well documented and undisputed, but its "clearly obvious".

  9. kare bear,

you are a loser whos just angry that us didnt get gold

and yes i did feel bad for her
