I'm a moderate and I don't hold loyal to any side, but I must say The democratic party has seemed more concerned about current issues and the american people. The republican party has seemed rather spiteful and mordant. As if there primary goal is to bash and name call anyone who differs in their views.

  1. for a speech that's the first time that many people have even heard you...

    extremely...

she made more jokes about Obama than talked about what she believed in... I still don't know what she believe in...

  2. yea she should have talked more about what they can do for americans

  3. No, I don't.

  4. Don't forget COMPLETELY UNBALANCED.

Come to think of it: She reminds me waaaay too much of d**k Cheney.

  5. She is a redneck dips**t. I'm embarrassed for John McCain.

  6. This is politics. She wasn't any worse than the other candidates. You may hold her at a different standard because she is a woman.

  7. It was embarrassing. I really don't think anybody old enough to vote and sober, thought much of her speech.  It was really sort of simple-minded, and very juvenile.

  8. Thank you so much.. cause the the rest of the world can see thru their bs too.. you don't need thick glasses either..

  9. I tried to watch but I have trouble dealing with the anger and hatred. Some of the Dems went that way, but not to the extremes the Republicans did. I managed to watch most of the Dems speeches but the anger over the last two days. WOW. I'd like to hear about a few issues and have not heard many, I heard more of what I want to learn from the DNC speeches.

  10. She was awesome!!

She was a lady, and smiled through her remarks.

This is about an election you know, pointing out the differing views is how campaigns go.

  11. LANDSLIDE!!!!!!!!!!!

    It Will Happen

    The Dems Will

    Destroy The GOP

    TY Bush!

  12. Vote for Summer!

  13. Well, no more so than Biden last week at the RNC. geez.

  14. I think the Democrats, so far, have been more "issues centered".

I do think there has been a lot of cliches thrown into the wind from both parties like "change" and "country first" but that is very normal...

I feel that I know very well what both parties want to accomplish and so listening to their speeches is low on my list of things to do...

I'll be voting for Obama because I don't want to go to war for the Saudi/Military Industrial Complex

And I want them to drill for oil ANYWHERE except in the forest preserves... which is the ONLY place they are willing to settle for... they are anti-environment.

  15. Marcia Brady for class president.

  16. and stupid. She's going to lose in the debates. Mark my words.

  17. No.

  18. I don't think she takes it very seriously.  And why should she.  She was selected strategically because she was a woman.

  19. Unfortunately they have been doing this from day one.  Obama has risen above it time and time again.  The reason is the GOP is in bad bad shape after 8 years of the current administration and they have not a leg to stand on. Their only hope is to instill fear and doubt in the minds of Americans so that people are too leary to vote for Obama.  I'm glad that you have seen through their game.. b/c that's all it is.  The McCain campaign manager pretty much came out and said that this election is NOT about issues, its about the candidates personalities and an "take away" feeling that the public will have about them an individuals.  They are steering clear of the issues b/c it would be too embarrassing otherwise.
