  1. Yes it was a 5.8 that shook east-southeast Los Angeles

I live in southeast Los Angeles (Whittier/Pico) so i felt it really strong but it was reported that it was felt as east as Las Vegas

  2. Glendale here. at work. the phones going down had me scared silly.

they're up and running now. hope everyone is ok!

  3. Yeap i felt it here in gardena. I was in my house and then the computer started shaking. I immediately went to the bathtub. I guess all those years of earthquake drills paid off.

  4. yes, i live by hermosa beach, and it was shaking like jello... freaked me out because i live in a multilevel apartment building thats old... and im on the bottom unit!

  5. Pasadena here, I was outside and the ground started rolling (like I was on a boat).  Knocked me off my feet!

  6. omg i was watching a movie and my sisters and mom felt it but I didn't! It could have been my first earthquake! : (

  7. Yeah sure did...I was at work when it began to shake for about a minute or so. Luckily I didn't panic and i kept cool in my office too because the girls there were starting to freak out.  I was surprised it was a 5.4 because it felt like it was smaller than that.

Well people get ready for the "big one"... it will be way more intense than todays and it can happen anytime soon (history tells us we are overdue).

  8. We felt it in Santa Barbara.  It was a very gentle roll - but everyone stopped what they were doing and came out of their offices.
