  1. Uh oh, youll have dave s on in a minute telling you off.You should have been sitting at your computer all night and all morning and then you would have seen all the other similar questions.

    Anyway, I slept through it but my mum in Cambridgeshire said her walls seemed to be shaking (it woke her up).x

  2. well yes it woke me up. The bookshelf in my room was like wobbling and all the books came off My bed was shaking and everything.

  3. I was awake but I didn't notice anything. My brother phoned me after it happened and asked if I had just felt that, He lives just 5 miles from me and he said his bed was shaking. I was deep in typing and also sometimes big lorries go past our house and shake the house but I just don't notice it.

  5. I was in bed asleep, bf was on computer lol we both felt it, i thought it was a ghost shaking the bed, he thought it was a bomb lol

  6. Nope.....Didnt feel a thing.  It would take more than an earthquake to wake me up from a deep sleep.  too used to aircraft.s rumblings to notice a little thing like that lollllllllll

  7. The San Fransisco earthquake of 1906.Now that was a proper Earthquake.As was the quake which caused the tsunami in asia a couple of years ago.What happened  in Britain last night was the equivalent to Vanessa Feltz falling down the stairs

  8. No but then I'm in Ireland.We had a wee one last week.Some guys chimney fell in through his bedroom ceiling!

    Lol at yahoo.He's got the right hump Davy.Must've fallen out of bed this morning.(Probably because of the earthquake). :)

  9. Im within 15 miles of the epicentre and was up at the time. It felt like someone was shaking my house, the floorboards were moving. It happened once and then again very quickly, my immediate thought was 'earthquake', then when it stopped I started wondering if a bomb had gone off somewhere or maybe someone shaking my house trying to break in. There was no damage in my street, but it woke most people up.

  12. I'm located in SE Kent and had no idea there had been an earthquake.    I think if anyone was injured or any damage was caused - I'm pretty sure we would of heard by now.
