Did anyone felt pain from the shot when u get u a tooth filling

cuz i just got it done and i didnt even feel it....lol idk someone told me it hurts but guess not

Nope, I didn't feel mine when I got it. At certain places though, they'll numb with a topical ointment before they stick you with the needle.

well i got to fillings and i didn't like the shots. they didn't hurt too bad.... 4 me anyways~ =)

I recently had two minor fillings done, but i didn't feel a thing.  All they did was use a drill to clean out the decayed part of the tooth, then added the filling inside.  It probably depends on how severe your cavity is.  If it's a large cavity, then they need to drill further into your tooth, and will result in pain.

I don't really feel any pain. If anything, I'd feel the poke when they put the shot in. Other than that, I'm dandy.

It always hurts, esp the one in the palate, because there is really no soft tissue there.  If you didn't feel it, it is probably because the dentist used a topical cream to numb the area.  Something like Ambesol.
