Did anyone find a piece of wood in the pictsweet choppped spinach?

I found a piece of wood while i was eating the spinach and i called them they said they would investigate. What else should i do?

I have found a variety of foreign objects in my food over the years some from a factory some from restaurants. I usually contact them as you have done. If they are nice they send you some free coupons or perhaps comp part or all of your meal. A lot of the time they don't do this since it would be admitting they are wrong and open them up to liability.  As long as you weren't harmed in any way I wouldn't worry about it.

I am a former chef and have found that at times, they ship the spinach tot the processing plants in woode crates and they are dumped into a large pool like device to wash the spinach and the wood may have broken off and gotten lodged in the spinach leaves, they remove the stems and then blanch and freeze it, sometime they use people to form the spinach into balls or portions but they would not see it, I would alert your grocery store manager, once in a box of pre-cooked chicken pieces they found a s***w, piece of wood and a bolt in the chicken al a king I made, my boss asked me why I added those ingredients, I said all I did was make the sauce/base and dumped 3/5 lb bags of frozen diced chicken into the sauce heated it  and portion it out, I was working in a nursing home at the time, they were concerned I was sabotoging the food???
