  1. It was 2 hours early before I got on the train, and to be honest, I turned off the TV and switched to my computer after watching 10 minutes. I already figured out what would Zhang Yimou arrange on the ceremony, those programs were all in my speculation.

Personally, I think Zhang Yimou is a peasant and will be a peasant forever.

  2. It was magnificent! Why would we be angry? Better yet, did you get angry and if so, why? The Chinese showed the world their penchant to blend precision, technology and creativity while being true to their longstanding traditions. It was beautiful!

  3. Why would we get angry? It was amazing!!!

    GO AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AUSSIES ROCK!!!

  4. No!  It was one of the best opening ceremonies for the Olympics!

  5. lol ya it was so freakin long and for what? they didnt even do anything!!! just some crapy chinese voice (no offense) saying names of countries that i coulkd barley understand them so i had to do alot of reading and people walking around. lol and when he lit the torch though that was funny cause they would never ever get me to go that high up for that long even if i did have the "honor" of doing something so important world wide like lighting the torch his famliy must have been so proud but it was funny how he was pretending to run.

but anyway ya i did get kinda mad though...

so uhm ya lol wat about u?

  6. Yes, it was amazing

  7. Why should i get angry? me and my husband did go here in China to watch the Olympics we are happy.

some people that is angry to China because of what's happening. well, what do you expect to a country that just open there country to the world.

I'm happy for China they done a wonderful job. I'm sure they are proud to there country.

  8. I'm assuming there are people who did, but I certainly didn't. It was a magnificant opening ceremony and it would've been amazing to see it live.

  9. not exactly "angry", but i was thinking the money could well be spent on something more constructive than this extravagant opening ceremony. Im from China.

  10. ridiculous. it was so great i had my eyes guled to the screen from 12 midnight all the way until 2.30 am(singapore time is similar to china). i don't get why there's so much criticism. they have already proved themselves as being able to host such a big event. i think that already settles it for the rest of us. i'm chinese-korean but have actually doubted the ability of china to host such an event, but i think now they've got me convinced.

the stabbing incident is a shame though. though some people are speculating that the attacker was bought over by a foreign country to scar the olypmics. not sure if it's true, but it was heard from a foreign source.

  11. No I got bored to be honest the all the teams coming out is painfully dull and takes ages.....

  12. What is this?

The only think on my mind was:CONGRATULATIONS CHINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Nope, it was amazing and congrats to China!

  14. I was angry...

    ... cuz I couldn't be there live

    and

... cuz NBC cut to commercials so often and showed us so little of what the crowd there probably saw.

  15. yeah i was envious of those people with the feathery hats

    HOW AWESOME WERE THEY!!

does anyone know were i can buy 1 of those?
