Did anyone get their july 4 stimulus check on july 5 yet?

Well the last two numbers of my ss is 79 and I was scheduled to receive my check on the 5th also I got the letter stating that it would get to me by that date. I thought having the 4th as a scheduled date for the checks to go out was silly anyway because we all know that mail does not run on the holidays. So what would be the next best thing to do about the check? Mail the check out before the fourth like on the 3rd right that would make sense but who knows what the IRS is thinking. Monday would be my next best guest as to when we would receive it if it did not come today.

I didn't.  I had junk mail today.  I am assuming they actually went out today from the state IRS mailing center which means I should receive mine on Monday or Tuesday.  

I was actually on the schedule to have mine mailed on June 27, but apparently since I filed on April 15th it slowed things down. At least that is what the website says. I got a letter stating I should expect it on the 5th.  I am sure it is a form letter that is just auto generated.  

I just wish I would have filled out the direct deposit thing on my return; but since we owed, it never dawned on me to fill it out.

Its Tuesday, July 8th,  my friend got hers today, hers goes to the post office.  My mail doesnt run til 1pm, so hopefully........

My last 2 are 77 and although I specifically spoke to the IRS and they said I would receive it by the 5th I have not received my stimulus check. Glad to know I am not alone!

Where the post offices even open today because I didn't get any mail at all?

I work at 1-800-ASK-USPS. Please stop asking where your checks are!!!! They are running late because of the holiday and First Class mail has NO guaranteed date of delivery, even though the IRS is telling people it will be delivered by the 5th.

anyway, I got the letter too, and my ending numbers is 84..I talked to the IRS and the rep told me that it said it would be mailed out on July 7th (Monday) Yes you would think they could have mailed them out early.... and for the 1 800 Im a b   i   t   c   h nobody is asking you or your d**n job..we are wondering about the post office...what the h**l does ups have to do with our Stimulus checks.....B   i   t   c   h!

Still waiting.  I thought maybe I would get it today but the Mailman's come and gone.  Looks like Monday or Tuesday now.  Good luck getting yours!

its after 5 and my mail still isnt here... its never this late. hopefully it comes soon. not gonna be happy if i sat around all day waiting for it and it doesnt show

got mine today 7/7/08 that rules. some people were saying they spoke to someone at the irs who said they wouldnt mail them till today. so maybe they were lying but i got it so im happy. i needed it bad

No not yet but hey it's free money you guys need to stop feining over it I'm just glad to get extra back this year.  You'll get it when you get it.  Just think if you got it last month it would probably be gone now anyway right?

My mail came about 11 a.m. and no check so I assume it will be Monday or Tuesday.  Glad I am not alone.

7/8 - Got mine today
