  1. yes i did...is wonderful

make sure to go along the coasts both adriatic and ionian side...

  2. I strongly recommend you to visit Lecce is very beautiful !

Go to Santa Croce's Basilica, to the amphitheater and don't forget to explore the towns of Grecìa Salentina (Calimera etc) not far from Lecce.

  3. I live near Lecce...

If you can, go to Porto Cesareo, on the Ionian side... Wonderful beach, lots of tourists, lots of fun, lots of food,  lots of everything XD

Lecce is also a wonderful city to visit (I like everything, especially the churches), but you know, most of the people is at the beach now XD

Oh. When you're in Lecce search for some "pizza a metro"... (you decide how many metres of pizza you want XD XD) I LOVED IT!!!

  4. Lecce is considered the capital of the South Italian Baroque  style and well worth visiting. Another highlight is the ancient Greek Ampitheater. I used to manage a chain of Cultural Communication agencies and our Lecce branch mapped all the local cultural highlights, which we then passed on to the local Tourist offices in each town of the Lecce province and Salento area. Nearby Nardò is also a small baroque gem and Gallipoli, on the coast, is a must in summertime.

During these years the old market quarter of St. Anna was completely renewed and made atourist attraction.

Don’t hesitate to go there, there’s always something happening, it's a lively city even for young people..
