Did anyone have a wrestling related game when they were kids?

I remember when I was in Junior High (Middle School to some), my friends and I used to try and sneak up on each other and deliver the Diamond Cutter (for fake of course) like DDP would do. Any time was game; during gym, if you were talking to a girl, between classes, etc. No where was safe as long as you could pull it off without the other guy catching you. Did anyone have a game similar to that growing up? I'm just curious.

For people who aren't aware of Diamond Dallas Page (a WCW star), the Diamond Cutter and the RKO are the same move and DDP (from WCW) would do the same thing that Orton does now, sneak in and deliver the Diamond Cutter catching the other guy off guard. This was before the Stone Cold Stunner or Orton's RKO.

  1. i did the same thing too except we do any finisher lucky no one got hurt but fun as h**l. i remember feeling nervous going outside  but i usually countered out of instinct it was great.

  2. When I was a kid, my little brother and myself, and a couple of other boys our age who were wrestling fans (we were 10-12 years old), after watching wrestling on TV every Saturday afternoon, would head out to the backyard and have our own wrestling show, complete with ring introductions.  Singles matches and tag matches.  This was 1969-1970, long before such moves as the Diamond Cutter.  We would wrestle each other in the same style as we saw on TV.  It was a helluva lot of fun.

  3. Yeah, sad to say, I've knocked one of my friends out cold w/a Sleeper, put another one on crutches for 2 weeks after giving him the Figure 4, and delivered a beautiful Superfly Splash off the top of my fence to a third friend.   Ah, also a .....errrm....girl...back body-dropped me into a 10 ft. deep ditch, w/rocks at the bottom. Not one of my finer moments. -_-

  4. I had the same thing just that we would usually try the FU!!

  5. Something similar.

I used to have my own backyard wrestling show, with a matress lol. It was me, my 2 cousins and my brother, and a huge Bugs Bunny doll.

We'd wrestle under specific names and had replica title belts with us. We'd come out to music that we played on the stereo from the WWF Agression CD, or the various other CD's we had. We did our own storylines, and our company name was nWo (New Wrestling Order) LOL. Cheap rip offs.

It was fun, but once you grow up, you learn other things are more important.

  6. I used to have something similar, but it was in Elementary in the fourth grade. My whole class would all be different wrestlers and whenever it was Recess, Lunch Recess, or P.E., we would all sneak up to each other and do different moves such as: The Stone Cold Stunner, The Rock Bottom, Sweet Chin Music, and others. (Of course this wasn't performed real, it was just for fun).

We even had factions such as: D-Generation X, The Nation of Domination, The Corporation, D.O.A., and others). We even taunted each other. The only down fall to all of this was, we were caught and always got in trouble for it. It was all worth it though and I can never forget those days. Time sure does fly by fast.

  7. Bullsh*t, me and my dumb@ss friends would do the same thing to each other!!!!

We even had teams against each other, and always would have big brawls in the lockeroom after football practice. d**n, those were good times

But we did have the "not infront of cute girls" rule, cause we were "teenage boys" after all.

  8. WWF No Mercy

  9. me and my friends did the similar things accept it was the stunner, we would try to sneak up on each other and grab there heads and say stunner then pull down there head on our shoulder but without falling to our butts

  10. It wasnt a game but in middle school we used to try to do with F-U to eachother
