Did anyone have any reactions to this years lunar eclipse?

I just got out of the flu during the day of the lunar eclipse. I took out my recliner lawn chair and video camera to catch the magic of the moon. Soon all air began to get colder and the stars began to fade one by one. As I was taping it, I saw the moon and sky go completely dark (hence the lunar eclipse). When that happened, I heard a little boom in my head and some kind of gravitational pull tugged the my the back of my head, my chest pushed up and for a split second I couldn't breathe. Feeling dazed, I continued to watch the lunar eclipse. After it was all done, I was really light headed. I looked at my video camera and everything was erased. Even the footage of me sledding was erased. I was pissed that I lost some good footage, but scared about what just happened to me.

What do you think happened? As far as I know, it wasn't a stroke.

  1. I have now seen three lunar eclipses in my life and the worst I ever observed as a strained ankle. The sky never became completely dark - as well as the moon. It glows reddish during an eclipse, because of the light getting scattered by Earths atmosphere.

The temperature never dropped, the stars never faded.

So, my theory, based on known observations:

Stay away from magic mushrooms. Or stuff you react allergic against. Sounds almost like an Anaphylactic shock, but I am no medic.

  2. You admit you were getting over the flu, thus the light headiness and other odd feelings. All the gravity of all the planets lined up would have NO discernible affect on any person, people just don't have enough mass to be affected by distant moons or planets.

As for the video camera, it was inadvertently re wined and erased over previous footage. What you did manage to videotape was most likely too dim to show up on video.

  3. Whatever happened, it wasn't related to the lunar eclipse.  Some of it may have been some symptoms remaining from your flu, but it sounds like there was some sort of electronic interference.  Lunar eclipses don't have any effect on people and/or DVDs.
