Did anyone have high cholesterol while pregnant? Plez read if so.?

If so did it cause any problems for you or the baby? Did you take anything to help with this while pregnant? Any advice would be great!! Thanks

I have slightly high cholesterol and a very strong family history of heart attacks (my mother at 57 died, 2 of her brothers died before 50).  My doc wants to put me on a statin, but won't because I'm TTC.  The cholesterol lowering statin drugs cause birth defects.  I was told that women TTC or already pregnant shouldn't even handle the pills (like taking it of of the medicine bottle to hand to someone else).  You could try to change your diet and do moderate exercise to try to lower it naturally.
