Did anyone in the transsexual community watch the show There's Something About Miriam a few years back?

What did you folks think about this programme i think Miriam is beautiful, and it was tragic that her and Tom never got together. But whats your views on this? i know it had mixed responses in terms of positivity and negativity. It hurts me to think about what happened to her in the recent past. Life hurts at times hey. so opinions please thanks!

I haven't ever seen the show, but it does show how life is for most of us who happen to be born with such a birth defect..

I remember this show although I don't remember what ultimately happened to Miriam or any of the men.

I do remember though when she came out as a transexual at least two of the men ended up being sick and absolutely loathed her (if I remember rightly). I felt that was really unfair because up until that point I believe they had liked Miriam an awful lot.

I think it just goes to show how peoples' perceptions of others change. Miriam was a gorgeous looking woman and as soon as she was honest about who she used to be, nobody wanted her.
