Did anyone like BREAKING DAWN by Meyer?

the twilight saga was all the hype until breaking dawn came out... now its pretty nothing. is it cuz the series is over or cuz the last book just didnt measure up?

Personally, i thought it didn't live up the hype. But for such a great series that would have been near impossible. Alot of my friends loved it though. :]

I liked it, not my favorite though. I think a lot of the fans had a high expectations for Breaking Down, but it ended up not being being good enough for them. Me on the other hand, no complaints.

No I thought it measured up to it's expectations!  I thought it was great!  I loved it!  I don't think she could have written a better ending to the series!  The whole book was so funny, romantic, and just awesome!  The best thing is that Edward finally understands how much Bella loves him!  I absolutely LOVED it!

I haven't read breaking dawn yet...waiting for it to come out in paperback. I have LOVED all the others though!

I liked it.

It just wasn't my favorite out of the saga. It was unexpected how it was broken up into 3 books-1 with Jacob's point of view. It was a good story. But some parts were superfluous, like the J.Jenk's thing and the fight with the Volturi- which never happened. Although the end was a bit abrupt you could tell Stephenie just wanted to wrap things up. It was nice how each character fell into place and how each had a happy ending.

I did. Although it wasn't the best in the series, I think it's ridiculous that everyone hates it. Yes, the characters change, and some people are bothered about a few of the plot twists, but that's just how the book goes. Part of life is things changing in unexpected ways. It was well written, and although the mini-Jacob-book was a little annoying, it was necessary. I pretty sure some people didn't like it as much, but that was because they all had their passionate expectations for what would happen, and they were angry when it didn't come out the way they wanted.

I think she could have done a better job on it....like a better ending or whatever, but I think it was ok....it just wasn't as good as it could have been.

***SPOILER ALERT PEOPLE!!!!!***

I mean, Bella getting preg was not expected at all....

but the volturi scene was kinda lame...

it was like,

"were gonna kill all of ya because of the kid."

and then

"oh it was just a misunderstanding. back to your knitting"

Seriously.

I was crying through that whole scene because I thought everybody was gonna die.....
