  1. No I haven't noticed,

but I do like your version of the word coincidence, very charming in a rustic kind of way.

    ;)

  2. hehe. you're perfectly right. Some [people can't just accept that what they believe in is wrong. ^^,

  3. Yes, I've noticed that too.

  4. maybe your idea of good, isn't the same as anothers idea... maybe its a sign from the universe, a wake up call so to speak. A reality check from the man upstairs.

  5. Yeah I noticed, I was one of the people who got 5 thumbs downs. lol

There are a lot of people with bad adoption experiences on here, and a lot of people who think adoption is stupid, so that is also another reason that most of the "good" answers get a lot of bad reviews.

  6. Yes and I feel the report button is used carelessly. To me if you don't like the question or the answer move on to the next one.I asked a question once WHY the laws differ for some people and it was removed.Like its there in front of society's eyes that the rules do not stick for some. Now did I mention a race in there?did I name someones name?Yahoo is really slacking sad to say.

  7. OH!  That's why I hated being adopted as a child, LC!  It's because the RIGHT attorney didn't handle it!

Good Lord, your poor little adoptees are in trouble.  Well, maybe when they have 'issues' down the road (and they will) you'll remember those YA people who were trying to tell you that adoption isn't perfect.

We're trying to educate people like you, who are so sure they have ALL the answers.  Did you know that 1-2% of Americans are adoptees?  Don't you think it's a rather large percentage here, saying that adoption is NOT the panacea you believe it to be?

You already have your kid--why not ask the experts here (those of us who have walked in your kid's shoes) how best to raise an adopted child?

  8. I noticed that too!

  9. LOL icebox!

  10. theres a lot of idiots on here.

  11. I agree.  I don't come here for thumbs ups.  I come here to discuss the issues that are important to me.

The good people will wade through the negative messages to find the ones that help them.

I am not naive enough to think that every adoption is perfect, and that every case is the same.  However, if a reputable attorney/agency is used, it is highly unlikely that the issues that the people rant about will occur.
