Did anyone noticed the ads in the streets of Cairo?

Question

That says: "نحكم عقلنا....كلنا"

meaning using our brains we will accomplish stuff..something like that..

Do you have any comments on that ads?

i thought it was stupid ...

i mean if people have lost THAT much common sense .. then God help you ... wa 3ala el 2ard assalam ...

Its exactly as there is a tired weak man who is holding many things in his hand, and is hardly walking and is trying to reach the other side of the street and he is soo tired, and someone stops him in the middle of the street and say to him "walk slowly, its better for you"

it is some kind of exporting the problems that the government suffer from to the people.

the government trying to convince people that the economic recession in egypt because of increase of birth not because of bad policies and bad performance of them.

note that every recession you will hear that lyric.

remember from 20 years ago :حسنين و محمدين

sometimes media talk sounds silly to us... and all of this common sense...

but if you look more clearly you will find that there is real media effect on people's attitude toward certain topics as this one...

it does work...

I have to add that our negative attitude to these ads is not because of the topic or the banners design. it is an expression of our inner political frustration of the ruling party.

@Hope: there is complete difference between advertising for commercial aims which aims only to be fascinated about some image to live in..... and promoting and supporting a social stance for the benefit of the nation

this is done by the ruling party under the supervision of the son, and it is not worth commenting its only there to keep a social existence for the party

All the way to and from the airport i read those sorry to say "stupid" ads, it is all basics... like save water or don't waste food or don't have many kids..... Honestly it is boring, stupid and not really captivating. After a while i grew tired from reading them and thought they were a complete waste of money and material and most of all MY TIME.

Advertising in its essence has to captivate you it has to draw you to look and observe and then serves you with its purpose which might not be a direct message that leaves nothing to be anticipated.

You gave me an idea for another q.... i ll be posting it soon.

@ Beautiful mind: i have to disagree with you here, u see the aim of advertising is to have yr message (the advertiser, whoever he may be) seen or heard with enough enthusiasm to influence an action such as a product purchase or sway in public opinion (politics, social, institutional, etc.) again... what enthusiasm is there in those ads... even if yr debating the fact that they might be directed to lower intellectual levels or demographic group.... still i do not beleive the way they were done or carried out holds any interest to any level in our society.

A better eg. of advertising that are somewhat more efficient and well thought off are the ones of (El baraka fel shabab) and (haza deeney). THOSE are well done and can hold u interested till the last second.
