Did anyone read and what are the reactions?

Did anyone read "The First Days of School" by Harry K. Wong and Rosemary T. Wong and if so what are your reactions?

It is a good book (very practical).  It is slightly  more appropriate for elementary than secondary but still useful for secondary teachers.   There is also a video series to go with it that is pretty good.  You should read it yourself.  It has been a best seller in the field for years for a good reason.

i was forced to sit through his presentation once. it's just a re-hashing of ideas that any idiot could think of on their own. if you've ever been exposed to to the idea of systems and believe your kids are not too stupid to learn then you can skip the book and save yourself $40.
