Did anyone read "the Secret"? What is the 'secret' to "the Secret?

"The Secret" makes a lot of sense to me. But I'm havinga really hard time changing my though process. I have an idea in my head that is positive, but I have such little faith in something working out the way I want it to. I need help. How can i get "The Secret" to work for me?!?!

'The Secret' is the Law of Abundance, and what you project out to the universe. I don't know if the secret really works, or if it simply makes more aware of possibilities. IMHO, it can't hurt to have a positive outlook on life, or to change your negative thinking.

The secret is that someone had an idea that if they wrote a book about all this great stuff that you could get just by thinking positively about it that it would happen for you but the secret is that they knew how to make it happen for them because they wrote a book everybody would want to buy and now they have all they ever dreamed of. See how that works.
