Question:

Did anyone see Body Worlds?

Just wondering if anyone here saw the BodyWorlds exhibition and what you thought of it. I went and found it very interesting, especially the female/baby bit. It's good to know that there is something other than organ doning which we can do with our dead bodies to help others. Not that I'm against organ doning, infact I'm on the register, but people whose organs are no good to put into somebody else, at least they will be useful

  1. No, but I did see the TV programmes/DVDs related to the exhibition, which were really interesting though a bit yukky.  I am a medical secretary, and it was good to see what those body parts whose names I type or mistype so often, actually look like and do!

  2. I laughed I cried,I threw up bleecckk aacckkk.

  3. Saw it in Phoenix... amazing!

Definitely this was one of the most remarkable and intriguing exhibits I've even seen.

  4. It was one of the COOLEST things of my life! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the exhibit.

Also, the book: Stiff     is all about what happens to your body once you die...I haven't read it, but I've heard it's really interesting and you'll be really suprised at some of the things your body is used for...if you read this book, you should still be an organ donor, but I guess you'll want to specify what you DON'T want to happen to your body...but I can't wait to read it.
