  1. I didn't see that part of the Xgames. What amazes me is what these people can do on boards. I get on a 9 year olds board and fall so hard I could feel my brain move!! TWICE!! Now I've got two 9 year olds and a 3 year old laughing at me and I'm trying to play it off like it didn't hurt :) They make it look SO easy!

PS. The hill I fell on was a tiny hill or "ditch" by the road...maybe 10 feet high.

  2. I missed the majority of the games, though I did catch some bits and pieces.  I just watched Heikki's run on YouTube, and you're right, he got denied.  His rails and boxes weren't anything special, but he's not exactly the most well known for that, but his airs were and are huge.  The fact that he managed to do a one footer off a jump that big and land it is pretty fricken sweet, but throw in the 360 and it becomes crazy.

That's BS yo.  Anyways, who won the slopestyle?

    Here's the vid.  His part's after Torah's:

  3. I don't watch the X gemes anymore partly because like you say they seem to rob some riders and seem to favour others unfairly. I actually prefere the Olympics even though they dont do a slopestyle contest just halfpipe, but there scoreing is better and fairer. Good luck with the riding.

Yeah i admit i find watching pipe a bit boring the spinning type tricks although impressive at first can get a bit dull when everyone is doing similar stuff. You tend to get more originality in Slopestyle like Heikki did in his run.

  4. I completely agree, a trick so new an innovative with so much risk (if he slipped on the landing - goodbye leg) should be rewarded much more.

It's not new that they rob people in the X-Games.  In summer in the Rally races, just because Tanner Foust beat Pastrana (of course X-Games loves Pastrana), they tried to take the medal from Foust.  They made him run his semi-final (while the other finalist had time to repair his car) and then run the final immidiately after.  So it turned out Foust was driving a car with no front brakes, a bunch of other things broken in the car and still won against someone with a perfectly working car.
