Did anyone see a mysterious object in the sky around 10-11pm?

I was in the car heading toward my house on 8-12-08 and I spotted an unidentified object with a bluish glow in the front of it. I almost thought it was a missile at the velocity it was going. But it landed around moffet field in the bay area. I don't know if anyone else seen it but please tell me if you have any further info on it anyone.

It was probably a meteor, there was a meteor shower yesterday
