Did anyone see that little blurb on sleep deprivation in the US during these Olympics?

There was this American guy who said "apparently Beijing didn't get the memo that the US is 12 hours behind China and goes to sleep when it's dark out," or something along those lines. China didn't make up the timezones or when it's light out and when it's dark, and they weren't the ones who picked themselves for these Olympics. If they could pick themselves to host the olympics, don't you think they would've held it in China a lot sooner than 2008?

Agreed. There were other gymnasts other than the US. And nothing should have changed exclusively for the benefit of the US gymnasts.

They needed a catch phrase to grab everyone's attention and the one they used seemed to appeal to certain people that they interviewed.

i think that guy meant it as a joking way.. like joking about the fact that he has to stay up to 3 o clock just to watch some olympics

not a criticism on china or their timezone..

i mean.. it can't be helped that theyre located half a world away
