it was really good! Audrina and Lo are fighting. and Lauren is caught in the middle. Hedi's sister is moving in with her and Spencer. Lauren threw a birthday barbecue for Audrina's 23rd. Lo ended up leaving because she felt uncomfortable around Audrina's friends that she didn't know.  Lauren is dating Doug now. i guess that's it! well ,spencer is really pissed that hedi's sis is gunna be staying with them.

A preview for the fourth season shown at the end of Season 3 included scenes of a rivalry between Audrina and Lo while Stephanie's loyalty to both Lauren and Spencer is pushed to the limits. Meanwhile, Kelly Cutrone offers Whitney a job in New York and showing a possibility of new relationships for Conrad and Partridge.

While Lauren struggles to balance the tension between her roommates, Audrina and Lo, she starts dating Doug, an old flame from Laguna Beach. Meanwhile, Brody, Audrina and just about everyone else warn Lauren not to trust her new friend, Stephanie Pratt (Spencer's sister). And when Lauren makes a surprising discovery about Stephanie and Doug, she realizes that her friends might be right.

Just as Audrina thinks it's time to let her boyfriend Justin go and begins dating Colin, Justin turns up the heat in their relationship, leaving her torn. Whitney rises up the ranks at Peoples Revolution much faster than she expected and meets a model in New York who could possibly sweep her off her feet. And Heidi deals with the consequences of moving back in with Spencer, including putting her job at risk. As if that wasn't enough, Heidi's sister Holly comes from Colorado for an indefinite visit, putting some serious pressure on her renewed relationship with Spencer.

MTV's website, mtv.com, lists Lo, Stephanie, and Spencer as cast members along with the four main cast members Lauren, Audrina, Whitney and Heidi and has featured all seven cast members in a new series of photoshoots. However the new 3 to the 7 aren't in the opening credits.
